I have scrapped this photo that I took a few years ago before...but it suited the challenge perfectly. I knew I wanted to use and layer many chipboard pieces, therefore I kept the paper layers minimal. I did how ever use many different media's on the paper and the chipboard's themselves.
On the background I have stencilled with Finnabair Copper Crackle Texture Paste. I sprayed some Lindy's Frolic in the Forest Black and used some of my very ancient Rub-ons in the corners.
The two Butterflies were Gesso'd and heat embossed with two colours of Lindy's embossing powders, Château Rue and Terra Cotta Plum.
I used Cornflower Blue Archival Ink and applied it in three different manners resulting in three unique effects. Firstly I applied it using a foam blending tool behind the photo. I then applied it through a stencil, still with the blending tool but with some more pressure. Thirdly I stamped, resulting in the darker blue image.
The vine was gesso'd and some glass glitters added at the end of the leaves for texture. I painted the leaves with Lindy's Edelweiss Moss Green Starburst Spray and added some black Art Sugar to it.
The Doilys were painted with Cornflower Blue Archival Ink and randomly embossed with Aged Teal Embossing Enamel. The Flower Buds were painted black and also randomly embossed with Aged Black Embossing Enamel.
In places I added Finnabair Plum Glass Beads, Platinum Glass Glitter, Gold Leaf Mica Flakes and a dusting of light Pink Art Sugar. All of them were adhered with Soft Matte Gel
I used the following pieces on my page

Between the Sheets:
Like water which can clearly mirror
the sky and the trees only so long
as its surface is undisturbed,
the mind can only reflect
the true image of the Self when it is tranquil
and wholly relaxed.
