~~ Happiness Cards ~~~
September 2019 13Arts Blog-post

Hi Friends....

For this month I made two cards at 13Arts using the "In Bloom" 6x6" Paper Pads. These pads make it easy to use smaller pieces of the gorgeous designs, getting all the detail without having to cut one of your larger paper sheets. Ideal for cards and Tags!

For this card I used the Greener toned paper. I layered two designs with Black paper from my stash onto a Cream Cardstock. I used the Rhapsody Stamp with Black ink to add some stamped detail. I love, love the design I get from using Black Splash! ink with a paintbrush to create the lines and splatters! Also used Silver Glitter Paint to splatter and on the die-cut leaves. The very delicate natural Exotic Flower was carefully inked with water-mist and Dark Brown Chalk mist. The title for this card is from the "Rose Field" sticker sheet. A Gray Pearl Twig and some black Tulle finishes the card.

 This is a more feminine looking Card. I used Orange and Yellow paper. I die-cut some Doily Shapes and added one to the background. Stamped in black with the Sky Flower stamp. I mixed some Modeling Paste with Magic Powder and colored it with the Amber and Ruby Color Glow. It now has a lovely velvety look. I used it through the "Night Flowers" stencil. Also layered the papers with Black paper onto a Cream Card-stock. On this Card I left the Exotic Flower in the natural color. Added a piece of Coral Twig and also Black Tulle and black Splash! splatters. This cards title is from the "Vintage Summer" sticker sheet.

All the products used are available in the 13Arts On-line Shop...

I hope you enjoyed the visit to the Blog...Happy crafting till next time!

~~~ Cattitude ~~~
Dusty Attic September 2019 Blog-post
This month I am pairing my Blogpost for Dusty Attic with ARTechnique papers from Maremi's Small Art...
Today's picture is of my gorgeous shelter cat Layla who is been with us for one year already! Love this beauty to Bits and she knows it....
I used cream colored watercolor paper backed by a sheet of 7 Dots Studio paper. From the Maremis paperstack I used one of the lightweight papersheets. Also used a sheet as backing for my photo as well as fussy cutting the flowers.
I used Black and Bordeaux Rainbow Colors from 13 Arts on the background.
Used a Maremi stencil with texture paste and embossed it with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel from Stampendous.
On the newly released Dusty Attic chipboards I used Pink and Avocado Acrylic paints. Sadly my crackle glaze on the green did not...well...crackle! 'Meow' was just inked with a little grey ink and also crackled. I added pieces of Tulle behind the photo and between the paper flowers and distress it with my Heatgun.
As a final touch I added a little splatter with 13arts Iridescent White Glitter.
Have you taken a look at all the amazing New designs in the Dusty Attic on-line shop yet????
I used the following pieces...
Thank you for your visit and Happy Scrapping to you all....
A cat isn't fussy,
 just so long as you remember he likes his milk in the shallow,
 rose-patterned saucer
 and his fish on the blue plate.
From which he will take it,
 and eat it off the floor.
~~ Together Forever ~~
August 2019 13arts Blogpost
 Hello again dear Blogger friends....
Today I am sharing a page using the Amazing New collection by Olga Heldwein called Grungy Walls. Now as the name suggests, this is collection is really designed with gorgeous texture of weathered woods and textured walls. I wanted to show a little softer and more feminine side of the collection... As my base I used the A side of  Cracked. I tore the sides of another sheet using the B side as a layer. I punched strips of the B side of Tattered Wood and tucked between. Also used it as matting for my photo. The fun photo for interest is me and my Husband taken at a photo shop in the Historic little gold mining Town of Pelgrimsrust...
I used the Tea Party Mask on the background with a Mix of Matt Sand Paint, Brown Rainbow Color and some Magic Powder to thicken the mix. Also stamped with the Star Alliance Stamp and embossed with Stampendeous Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel.
I used the Purple Magnolia Flower from the pack as well as a few Light Purple Lilac flowers. But mainly used elements from the brand new addition to the paper ranges...Ephemera Packs!!! These make adding elements so easy as they are filled with all kinds of interesting designs. The Red Door comes from the Summer Rhapsody set. The Butterflies from the Grungy Wall set and the Flowers and sentiments are from the In Bloom set. I did find the white of the elements distracting, therefore I painted them all with Antique Cream mist to blend in with the papers.
I used the Summer Rhapsody chipboard set for my Title and the Flourish. I colored them with the Pastel Cinnamon and Patina Bronze Mists and also a little of the Silver Glitter Paint for some Shimmer. Finally did some splashing with the Olive Green Ink.
That's it friends! Hope you enjoyed this page and all the new collections from 13arts!
Tell me how many beads there are
in a silver chain
of evening rain,
Unraveled from the tumbling main,
And threading the eye of a yellow star.
So many times do I love you again.
~~ You can Never have too much Happy ~~
August 2019 - Dusty Attic Blogpost
 One of the newly released designs from Dusy Attic is a lovely sheet with different size Tags on...When I saw them I knew they were going to be my first choice to use this month.
I used the largest of the Tags as my base. I covered it with paper from the Serendipitous collection by 49 and Market - After the Rain. Also cut a smaller tag to layer with. Seeing as I really love distressing my Chipboards, I dipped the edges of the Tag into some water and separated and curled the corners...Distressing Heaven for me...! Also added some Gilding Flakes to the edges to add some elegance to the Tag.
I embossed the Squiggly Frame and Brick Broken Bits with Perissa Embossing powder from WOW.
The window part of the Juliette Balcony #4 was treated with several colors of Rust Pastes. The Balcony part also got some Brown Rust paste and then embossed with aged Copper Enamel from Stampendous and Lindy's Lapis Lazuli Blue Gold. I colored a piece of acetate with Pesto and Stonewashed Alcohol Inks and placed it behind the window.
The Mini Foliage leaves were foiled in gold, also used a few leaves and flowers from the 49 and Marker Cut out sheet. A little gauze colored with 13Arts Navy Blue Ink and heat distressed netting was also added between my elements.
I hope this project has inspired you to go and visit our awesomely stocked Dusty Attic online shop to view all the amazing new Designs added recently...
Thank you for your visit today....
Smiling is infectious,
You can catch it like the flu.
Someone smiled at me today,
And I started smiling too.
