~~~ Family Matters ~~~
May 2022 Dusty Attic Design Team Project
Another Family photo done with Blue Fern Papers from the Deja Vu and Courtship Lane collections for my Dusty Attic Design Team project. Yellow and Purple are not my go-to colours, but I 'rescued' these papers from my de-stashing pile recently.
I used leftover pieces from the Arch Window set on the top and bottom of my layers and the cut apart Decorative Panel on the sides. Both these designs were embossed using Shabby Green Embossing Enamel from Stampendous.
I painted the Iron Accents with Iris Acrylic paint from Cadence.
I painted the Title, Mini Tab and Mini foliage with Leaf Green and Antique White paint from DecoArt. I also embossed with clear embossing powder.
As decoration I used some Prills and Chunky Glitter.
I used the following from the Dusty Attic On-line store...
The ground we walk on,
 the plants and creatures,
the clouds above constantly dissolving into new formations
each gift of nature possessing its own radiant energy,
bound together by cosmic harmony.
~~~ You keep Me Anchored ~~~
May 2022 Dusty Attic Moodboard Project

Hi dear Bloggie friends...
Today I am bringing you a project using the gorgeous May colors on the Dusty Attic Moodboard. Ranging in different shades of Blue and with a Beachy theme I created this Heart shape wall hanging.
I covered it with some Decoupage paper from Stamperia. Also stenciled with some  Translucent crackle Paste.  Then painted the background with Liquid Acrylic Paint, Prussian Blue and Magical Pond Sparks.

I started by applying a layer of Gesso to all the pieces. I then painted the Water Tower and the Wooden Fence with Stamperia Allegio Paints, Blue Aviation, Cookie and Earth. I also added touches of Rust effect paste, Brown, Dusty and Cool Grey.

The Rainbow and Clouds, Jellyfish and Starfish were painted with Cookie and Indian Turquoise paints. The Star Fish and Jellyfish got a little Lava Paste that was heated to pop before the paints. Easy and great added texture.

I embossed the Fancy Frame and Ocean Waves with Ranger Speckle Embossing Powder, Blueberry and Cosmic Shimmer's Industrial Revolution. Both beautiful multicolored and textured. On the Gauss I sprinkled some 13Arts White shiny Glitter strips. Also added Art Stones and some small Seashells to finish the Beach theme. The Wood Slices only have the slightest lick of Gesso, leaving them with the gorgeous ring design.

There is still time to enter the Moodboard challenge.
You could win one of two $50 AUD credits to the Dusty Attic online store. Remember the only requirement is that you have Dusty Attic chipboard on your creation and enter on the Dusty FANattics Page.  Have fun and good luck .

From the Dusty Attic On-line store the following were used.

Always keep your mind as bright and clear as the vast sky,
the great ocean,
and the highest peak,
 empty of all thoughts.
Always keep your body filled with light and heat.
Fill yourself with the power
of wisdom and enlightenment.

~~~ Gather Together ~~~
April 2022 Dusty Attic Moodboard
Hello dear Blog Friends...
I think this Family photo fit the Dusty Attic Moodboard just perfectly! I teamed the Dusty Attic Chipboards with papers from the 49 & Market Vintage Artistry Collection as well as Flowers, Washi Tape and Rub-ons.
I used Red Blaze Gilding Flakes from Cosmic Shimmer on the Love Arrows and the Tropical Foliage Leaves. The Lacey Flowers are painted with Crackling Campfire and Speckled Egg Distress Paint and embossed with Speckled Egg Distress Embossing Glaze.
I did some distressing, hand stitching and layering with paper strips on the top and bottom of the layout. I took the Title for the page from this 49 & Market Rub-on sheet.
From the Dusty Attic On-line Shop I used the following Chipboard pieces...
