First up is this adorable little penguin who looked very lost and alone without any festive clothes on...after a party hat and some laces and flowers, he is now ready to welcome friends and visitors on my shelve with all the other X-mas characters!
I used two different laces on him, the links will be at the end of each project. Also added some rhinestones for some added bling.
This is one piece of lace...as it is nearly 5 ' broad, it created a perfect coat for Mr Penguin...
The flowers were layered using different appliqués cut from the lace...
The first layer of this flower was created by using the bottom scallops as seen in the next photo...
More flourishes from the lace and some Acrylic flowers with white Pearls add the finishing touches to his hat...

Next up are two wooden X-mas trees that were also adorned with various Tresors de Luxe laces...
I opted to leave the laces the original white colour, thinking that it looked like snow on my 'African' tree...I also pulled the curved lace taut resulting in the loops having some dimension.
Added tear-drop shaped pearls to the lace.
Again used pink and white fabric flowers together with a few strands of white fabric flower sprays with white pearls.
The base was also covered with pieces of lace.

My favourite...On this red tree I used the soft pink lace and some of the dangling flower lace that I coloured with some Lindy's Stampgang mist A Bit of Bubble.
A few fabric flowers and leaves were all that was needed, for me a very elegant looking tree....
Again it just needed a few Rhinestones to add a little bit of sparkle!
