Unfortunately this is not my own garden...If it were, I would never come inside at all!!! I would spend my day on that little bench and just drink in the tranquillity and peace emanated in this photo.
Hello blog friends, I am sharing another page created using beautiful Dies from Couture Creation with you. I have used the 'Gate to Eden' and 'Roman Set' both from the Metricon Intricutz Die Collection.
I cut the gate twice using a black cardstock, I halved the first one to use on the sides of my photo and used the top of the second die-cut as a header for my gate. I bent the two side parts and filled them with flowers.
On my background I did some stamping and stencil work.
I achieved this beautiful rustic effect by partially embossing the gate with embossing enamel...in real life it blends in beautifully with the garden scene of the photo...
The smaller Fleur-de-lise from the Roman Set was also embossed and places on top of the gate to form an accent point.
The flourishes and girl silhouette are chipboard pieces from Imaginarium Designs...we as Design Team were graciously gifted with chipboard pieces to use in conjunction with Couture Creation Dies...Thank you therefore Jane.... I have painted them with a light, sand coloured paint and dabbed some Antique Silver and Green Glitter Paint on.
My flowers are from Petaloo...I have had this flower in my stash for ages...can not remember who's it is...
Thank you for visiting me and my garden of Tranquillity....
In the garden I tend to drop my thoughts here and there.
To the flowers I whisper the secrets I keep and the hopes I breathe.
I know they are there to eavesdrop for the angels.
